Scheifele crying at the end is the only time I noticed him all night lol

Bro what did those guys ate today

This is the perfect example of our depth showing up when our stars aren’t on the scoreboard.

The game has significantly more jump in our favor when we were up by 2-1. And goals scored by the players who needed it the most, if for nothing else but their confidence. Great game!

Dach! Barron! … Dadonov? What a game!

That was shockingly fun, considering all the absences. Great to see a game with legitimate scoring that isn’t solely generated by Caufield/Suzuki.

  5. Mustafarr

Let’s not forget Montembeault was a waiver pickup 🛻

This kind of game might make a lesser man start thinking of chasing the wildcard but we stay gotta stay strong for bedard

Very happy for Barron that he’s starting to show something at the NHL level, crazy that some people were already writing him off.

Also getting more and more impressed by the details in Dach’s game, there’s a reason his line is usually the among best ones.

  8. AperoDerg

Barron’s dad is about to cry seeing his son win first star. That’s so wholesome!

  9. confidenceisKi

We found our starting goalie for the foreseeable future

  10. reidk_97

Best overall game of the year??? Considering the momentum of the opponent and the fact the jets are the 4th best in the league and looked like the coyotes against Montreal

  11. Philly514

Dad has a few more games like that and maybe we’ll get a pick for him

  12. SnooGuavas7906

Montembault should honestly be a NHL player of the week. He’s been elite past 5 games

  13. JacquesEvans

Cute as fuck interview with Barron and seeing his parents… and his mom took off the Jets hat hahah

    *GOOD*

    – Not to rain on the parade but the goal scorers in tonight’s game kinda couldn’t have been any better. Of course they individually all played good solid games but I mean better as in the deadline is approaching.

    – Really solid effort for the Habs. Back to back wins against solid opponents.

    – Monty is playing great!!!! Let him ride with that #1 job.

    – Dach has been really good on the wing for the Habs but is really also excelling at Center ice.

    – Xhekaj fight there at the end you gotta love it. Fighting aside just an absolute stud back there and with how many rookie d you can certainly see why they moved Romanov last offseason. Really good asset management from Hughes.

    – Overall everyone was solid. That’s pretty much it

    – Barron with a stellar game. Slowly improving.

    *BAD*

    – The tank.

    – Thought some of those early powerplays were quite awful.

Shoutout to Hoffman trying to rifle the puck at the Jet who took the last second shot lol

  16. ticktock_heart

Monty looking more and more like our #1 goalie every night

One thing that seem to be a conductor between all players is “swag”, they all (our young core) seem to play with some of it. X giving love to the logo after his fight, Dach little wrist flick in his third star loop and the others.

  18. itsdajackeeet

They’re playing fun hockey again. The only thing you could pick them apart on is the pp, otherwise another good solid team effort. Sure is fun watching Monty string some games together and get some solid W’s

  19. RitoRvolto

That was the first time the #Habs won a game in regulation this season without Nick Suzuki or Cole Caufield registering a point.

  20. dadoudelidou

    Hey guys !

FLA blew up their advance AGAIN and lost in OT !!!

  21. Great to see happy Marty on the bench was looking frustrated last games

  22. What was Shitfly saying at the end? Who was he talking to?

“You let this happen. You fucking moron. You fucking (unintelligible).”

  23. Future-Trip

I really think that PK’s speach had an impact on the players.

  24. FlashyChapter

I feel like tonight proved that the guys previously in the AHL (Barron, Ylonen more specifically) are at least as good as the guys they replaced in the lineup.

Gotta move bodies between now and the deadline. Ylonen shouldn’t play another game in the AHL this year.

  25. Kidhendri16

    Hoffman with a ridiculous snipe🔫🔫🔫🔫
