    If I were a GM I’d build that bonus structure into a lot of contracts. $50K bonus for cross checking Tkachuk, Marchand or Kadri 5 times.

    Tkachuk gets cross-checked automatically think it is the right play without having context of what happened.

    The best part of this video is Tkachkk going for a butt check again instead of squaring up and facing his opponent. The Tkachuk butt check (especially the flying one) is his signature move.

    Looks like zegras was covering his team mates back especially with tkachuk ( the ultimate cheap shot) doing what he does best, play dirty.

    Good job on Zegras for doing something to save his teammate from the hit. I'll agree that cross-checking isn't the best answer to stopping a hit, but at least he did something and didn't just watch Tkachuk plow through the guy.

    Cross checking in the back is awful but this one I understand. If someone is taking a run at your teammate and that’s all you can do to protect them then it’s in like donkey Kong. Good work.

    Just realized Steel didn't jump in, just watched as the scrum happened. Don't know what happened between the WHL and the NHL but its like he lost his passion for hockey and team or something

    Zegras has been pushing buttons as a rookie mark my words he gets his teeth knocked out this year cause you lost your rookie protection status.

    Idk I don’t blame zegras, tykachuk was ready to give Trevor’s teammate a blind shot. If anything zegras saved tykachuk from being called the next Brad Marchand rat

    I don't get how people are saying good cross check. And good job protecting your teammate. It was a dirty play and he immediately started pleading his case to the refs. Not an honorable hockey play at all
