tbh i feel like Nashville might’ve fleeced Seattle, despite the numbers you brought up, the opportunity was never given on a mediocre roster. Wright will have better players around him especially Center being a position Nashville needed an improvement and a top 6 spot is more probable now and better linemates
i do get your argument though perhaps a change of scenery and a new system is what was needed
Wright had 19 goals and 44 points in his first full season. Compared to Woods 17 and 30.
It is WAY too early to be deciding based on their numbers.
At this point I believe wright will be more of an impact to preds than wood with cracken. It was too early to say long term impact who will be better….
Wood is great , but lack size and still getting pushed around.
We need the center for preds
Kraken fan here. Nice video dude! I watched all the other reaction videos and this is the best one.
Seems like Wood is basically Yanni Neyman but NHL ready.
Is this pre recorded and put on himself or got someone else to do the voice because Why is it delayed when he moves his mouth
Not a crazy trade.. just 2 disappointing players swapped
Great write up!
I feel Seattle did what they could with Wright. He just never showed enough in the ice time he was given to earn more of it. Honestly, those stupid CHL rules are probably more to blame for his early development issues. Since he couldn’t play in the AHL after not earning a Seattle roster spot, they had to get creative to keep him out of juniors as long as possible where he definitely didn’t belong. Of course those CHL rules would then be in discussion to get removed the following year and are now gone effective this season 🙄
I think you are overthinking this.
