should've been a red wing
yeah wtf. They got a great return for him and they boo him? Good thing he left
Looks like he made the right choice.
Go wild
What are they chanting?
He just scored😂😂😂 Wild up 3-0
I don't get why we have to boo or hate him?
That’s what he gets
They Boo because they can't be for him now. But let's talk about a too mellow crowd! This is as juicy as their crowd gets except to heckle at their own players from behind the bench!
Lack luster crowd engagement to say the least. I feel bad for the team.
I don't fully understand the anger towards Hughes. now I'm not a Canucks fan but from my point of view he actually helped the team by giving them advanced notice that he probably wouldn't resign, giving them time to trade him and get a return instead of losing him for nothing. at no point did he request/demand a trade or refuse to play out his contract. he was always willing to play for the time he said he would. and that's the reality of the league is players move around and it seemed like a good thing for the team that they knew ahead of time so they'd get a firm return for him. unlike pouty players like Brady or Connor who just decided they were done and weren't going to honor their word in the contract and then demanded a trade to a very limited amount of teams in effect shackling their original teams. So unless players do something to intentionally screw over their team, like requesting trades and then vetoing everything, or saying they'll sign then dipping in FA, or just giving up when the going gets tough, then i dont see a particular reason to be mad at a player. just part of the game?
He will get booed more by the wild fans when he signs with the devils. I can see Nucks fans booing him more when it happens. Sens fans set the tone
Ottawa did it better. Sad, soft vancouver fans as per usual.
and people ask why players want to leave Canadian teams – here's a great example (same with the comments here)
As a Canucks fan, I loved watching Huggy, and I don’t blame him one bit for wanting to win. Maybe point the finger at Rutherford and Allvin instead for the massive Petey contract, letting the Miller-Petey drama drag on, trading Podkolzin, and mismanaging this team in so many other ways. A player like Quinn wants to compete for a Cup, and if we can’t give him that opportunity, why would anyone expect him to stick around? He’s simply too good to waste his prime on a team going nowhere.
Quinn gave up skating allowing a goal in the playoffs. Guy always gives up.
He doesn’t deserve the hate.
if it werent for the fans, these players wouldnt have a job.. so buuh all you want. who cares.
we all know our team is cooked when hughes scores against his former team
Honestly you can't hate Quinn the way , Sens hating Brady. Ottawa is playoff team, the Canucks are A dumpster fire. And I like th canucks, own the backup goalie jersey from.the 2011 finals
