“I don’t think they’re done yet?” Really? Not exactly a clever take.
Laval uses 2 D on the PP.
We need the Habs to tank and get Dupont!!
Boys will step up. Time the media shuts up and let them play. Put Dach in no.1 center spot.
they had 1 regulation win before he got hurt, cant get much worse
French Connection and Al Kreida lines are doing alright, so take the center from somewhere else: Dach, Kapanen, Florian, and Beck are the remaining centers to pick from without disrupting the chemistry of those lines…. PS Screw Larkin! Kirby Dach's cap hit is what, $2.5M. And it is not going to be a trade Dach for a hero: they will want something more that just Dach, so what problems do we create by trading to fix another problem? Trade does not get the Habs a cup. Sorry.
I think this is a little bit worrying tho without our captain but I also think this is a good thing in a few ways to force them to be better and hold leads so they could actually learn their lessons and be better and gives Fowler to be even better so it’s not a worst case scenario
Let’s get Ryan O’Reilly , I am sure he can be acquired for a reasonable package , and will really help
MSL made the best decision. Amidst the misfortune, this is good news. Kapanen has played with Slaf, and they have chemistry. Caufield is a fast executor—I think it will work well, and Slaf also mentioned who he wants on 1 line.
Habs have needed a 2C for awhile and this just reinforces it. Kapanen in the 1C spot is a terrible fit. Danault is their second best center and even he is not 2C or 1C material I'm afraid.
Omg Josh dude do you think talking loud and machine gun fast makes you good ? Geeezazz arghhh I can’t take it calm the F down. Eazzzy in control
I think they should give Jonathan Drouin a PTO.
The offense isn't so much the problem, holding a lead is. They have to stop giving the game away in the 3rd.
Selfishly I'm very disappointed that Nick's hurt because I'm going to the game on the 31st. I was looking forward to seeing Demidov and Suzuki and I won't see either…I'm glad the Habs have such a great team because there's a lot of other good players to see though.
One thing is for sure though, the longest ironman streak with the Canadiens is now Josh and Jesse!
Maybe, just maybe, can't believe I will say this but Suzuki's injury is a blessing because players need to step up. One regulation W, not good, not solid hockey from this team. The Habs so far have demonstrated the SAME problems and mistakes as last year. Something, no, more like many things need to change. I'm not blaming anyone but the whole team has to move forward and they are not. Dumb penalties @ the worst times, shaky goaltending, a D that needs work and basically discipline from the collective. The Canadiens still take their foot off the gas and coast and allow teams back into the game. WRONG. A journalist said recently the Habs lack a killer instinct. 100%. If this season turns out to be bad then last season's playoff success will look like a fluke. Before last season I thought the Habs had the players to win a Cup in 2-4 years and now not sure. Sadly the only time I swear is watching the Montreal Canadiens and with church the next day or confession, so much to say. Joking…this team needs to major jolt!!!
Betman receive orders from the top of us us only….
Newhook is not a center
I really wanted them to get mactavish.
I'd like to try Newhook with Slaf and Cole on the first line. Hes fast and can probably be a great option to help Slaf move the puck and set up for Cole
2 weeks is a hazardous risk. Non-union of a wrist / hand fracture can result in permanent injury.
Dobson gonna rip some clappers on the PP
Stop lying to people, you have zero credibility! You have zero respect and sources!
Since Matheson is coming back would it be crazy to have Hudson go forward and play wing with kappy and slaf? We need some dynamic puck movers in our forward group while we wait for Suzuki and Demi to come back.
we need a side kick for demi, whether thats a 2c or a winger, we need a robin for our batman!
The moment Fakeout Friedman was mentioned, I don't trust it immediately.
Is Patrik Laine signed? No?
