3. Played a full 2 mins last night. Pp was horrible. Pk was garbage. Dosty save% is .882. I mean wtf dude. Edit: I completely agree with you about Dosty. Last night was the first time I questioned if he will be that guy.

4. I truly believe some goalies are born to rise to the occasion when the starter gets injured. They truly thrive under the pressure and come through as heroes in a dark time. But when you put them in the starter position and the holes start to show. I'm not saying this is 100% Dostal, but sometimes I wonder.

5. Its frustrating losing but I've seen some positives here. McQueen has been playing great he has been getting some good looks, ones bound to go in sooner or later. Cutter, Beckett and Nickita line looked good. We need Timmy back for Carlsson. The team went through some huge changes and it was always going to take a little while to get into their groove. Dostys been missing some questionable goals though wonder whats going on with him. Bostons pretty good this year this game was always going to be tough. LFG DUCKS!

   Edit: Seriously the forward and back lines are all over the place. 🤦‍♂️ winning then change and start losing

6. We showed up for the first period and just sat down the other 2 periods for some reason.

7. Very disappointed game for Ducks. Before end period, we score 2 goal quickly then blew up 4 goal on the rest. Hopping Coach Q can solve defense and offense problems quick as he can.

11. I really wish Dostal would show some more passion. I’m seeing shades of John Gibson in him when he gets scored on. He can’t keep giving up 4 goals a game, it’s not all on him, but he needs to play better. Also, I don’t think McQueen is nearly strong enough to play a full season. This is going to be a very long season, especially if the ducks can’t stay healthy.

12. I'm neutral on Dostal as a goalie myself. I think he's overhated and gets a bunch of unfair blame when it's clear that the rest of the team isn't doing their part. I mean, just look at that performance at 5:40 That being said, he's let in too many softies for me to not question his ability to stop the pucks.

    I think this game ultimately proved that Granlund (or another vet) was always gonna get the C over Leo even if the offer sheet drama never happened. He's a great player but he needs to step up like Beckett. Thank goodness Granny's coming back for the East Coast road trip because the youngsters definitely need his guidance.

    Speaking of youngsters, McQueen and Klepov are really coming along so glad they're improving. I do hope they keep up the Leo/Klepov line chemistry.

    It still sucks because the last two home games were ones that the Ducks could have easily won if they had just learned to play for more 60 minutes. Mind you, even Granny joked about how they played a solid 40 minutes when they won their first game of the season against Vegas so they really gotta work on keeping their momentum up throughout the game.

17. Well it could be worse. Kings scored 31s into the game and that was it. Kings record 0-4-2. Ouch…So Boston pretty much blanked the Kings.
    What I did notice about the Ducks game is they started to get a little too cute with the puck. Instead of going N/S they tried to a lot of fancy little drop passes and Boston was right on it. But that is the learning curve with a young team like the Ducks.

20. We need to stop giving Dostal excuses about how he was great blah blah years ago. He's currently trash as a starter, and that's just the reality of it; he is perfect as a solid 2a backup. We need a real goalie on this team, like a Gibby in prime 2.0, or we have no future, regardless of the struggles with young guys. Our guys are scoring; we cannot give up a 2-0 lead as easily as we have already multiple times this season. It's not all on him for the Bruins game, as there were some massive defensive breakdowns on 2 Boston power plays, but at the end of the day, just as a goalie can't be perfect every night, neither can our defense. We have a good defense now, and anyone who still wants to try to cope by blaming our defensemen, I don't know what to tell that person. Dostal, now that he has a defensive group in front of him, is just showing he is not 1A material yet. 1A is not a we hope for consistency it is you are consistent, no excuses.

23. Last season we conceded the first goal/s and then we entered the game, now we are scoring first and then we go to sleep/get tired. 🙂 With those injuries we cannot have consistency in the line up.

24. We come out balls to the wall and dominate the first period but gas out. We HAVE to score on PPs. Other than that still lovin this squad. Edit: agreed klepov looked GREAT
