Florida Panthers coach Paul Maurice speaks before his team plays host to the Seattle Kraken on Saturday, Oct. 17, 2026.
The Panthers (4-2-2) are coming off a 3-2 OT win against the Vancouver Canucks when they got a second straight hat trick from Brady Tkachuk to rally from a 2-0 deficit.
Florida trailed 2-0 after the first, with Tkachuk getting his first goal at 11:11 of the third. He tied it with 12.8 seconds left, then won it midway through OT.

This is an incredibly intelligent man. There is a reason why the other 31 teams don't like playing against the Panthers and yes Paul Maurice will play a homicide detective and smoke 2 packs of darts a day in the movie of my life.
Coach definitely is an analyzer…Let's hope he figures out what to do with no-show Bennett, cause things aren't looking good and neither for the team. Although, they won against Calgary, that team wasn't that good of a team. Hopefully, his changes include those young kids, Devine and Cooper Black…Still early and don't think they should be depending on Barky or Marchy!
