NHL Highlights | Penguins vs. Avalanche – October 16, 2026

1. Nice to see Blackwood gaining confidence and making saves. Congrats to TJ Hughes on his first NHL goal! Lehkonen's 2nd goal was a beaut and Crosby's face wash afterwards was hilarious. Go Avs go!

2. Blackwood with another solid performance. Keep the hot streak rolling!

3. Avs 2-man TV crew overemphasized MacKinnon's one-timer goal. MacKinnon basically scored an Ovechkin one-timer goal!

4. Crosby's still got it

5. a tale of 2 halves…except the Penguins half only lasted 10 minutes.

6. Начали за здравие ,окончили за упокой.

7. Malkin still got his stuff together

8. What a goal from Malkin

9. man, avs fan here but that first Pens goal by Malkin was sick. Love the work from Lehky in this game!

10. Art rules!

11. MacK sure is effective, even with a sore nose.

12. Once again pens can't hold onto the lead. That's why they'll miss the playoffs

13. Why is it that loud when Pittsburg make a goal? Did not expect that many pittsburg fans there.

14. All goals scored by short range after rebounds. Shilov deflected all first shots. Pittsburgh doesn’t help their goalie

15. The penguins only angered the Bugs. McKinnon is the best!

16. Lehkonen going for thr big paycheck after this season. Well deserved. 👌

17. Avs just crushing this game

18. Обладатель еврокубка это МСмк кубка Стэнли уровень змс клубам НХЛ интересно иногда встречаться с клубами Европы лучшими

19. haha!! Ill say it again to all the less educated who have been mocking or negatively chiming about MacKinnon's last dust up. He's "Canadian". It looks like a broken nose and f'd up injury to the less informed hockey fans out there, but to myself and my fellow Canadian's Ive grown up chasing the biscuit beside on frozen outdoor rinks after school(Edmonton)……….thats seriously just a minor scratch, thats all. Doesn't do anything except make a Canadian(especially like a MacKinnon) even more motivated to come at you even harder. Im not a Avs supporter at all but I am Canadian and I just felt like noting that he didn't equip a full face cage or visor and led his team like that next game performing like a boss. What a dawg.

20. The kings of blown leads blow another lead, go figure.

21. what could silovs possibly do on the second goal😂

22. “He started well and ended badly” is a Russian proverb that means a person began doing something well and successfully, but continued or finished poorly and unsuccessfully.😂 Pittsburgh

23. Sportsnet and the NHL need to FIRE FIRE FIRE their YT ppl. WHY TF are yall uploading videos in 720p. There’s was 1080 is 2006!! 2006!!!!!!!

24. Come on Pittsburgh blew 2-0 lead no points gained against up and coming team 😶‍🌫️😶😐

25. Что за член под 13-м номером у Колорадо?!
    Где Ничушкин?!

26. I love watching an Avs game, when the commentators are Avs fans 🙄🥱

27. Малок!!!

28. SIlovs did everything, but the defense is just subpar

29. Does this commentator wear a little skirt with pom poms

30. 1:27 Such a big crowd pop for an away goal 😂😮

31. I know Moser is going to be kicking himself on the Hughes call, calling it Hughes’ “first game” instead of first goal 😂

32. 7:00 SO glad we don’t have Girard anymore specifically for mess ups like this

33. The question is, Who or what players PENS are going to offer up in the near future. Have to believe that it's going to happen.

34. оборона Пингвинов курит кальян в сторонке…

35. 😊😊😊😊😊

36. Congratulations to TJ Hughes for your first NHL goal let’s go Avalanche

37. MacKinnon’s one-timers from left reminds me so much of Ovechkin.

38. The senior citizens started fast & went to sleep, pens should probably extend crosby letang malkin & rust for another 5yrs

39. watching this game last night the avs looked so flat and bad in the first period and i was so pissed at the 30 second goals back to back i had to go take a shower wash that bad hockey off of me. turns out it worked. GO MAGIC SHOWER… I MEAN GO AVS
