  1. I would not be surprised it would be Holmstrom or Duclair, or a tandem of both. Barzy will end up playing left wing on the first line, to improve scoring.

  2. I think Debier hinted at rotation which is perfect for a team with a bunch of old guys who need a rest and a couple of real young guys like richie and eklund who probably could use a blow as well (really eklund) a full first nhl season is a grind

  3. Eklund goes back to AHL….He needs a full year in the AHL to get stronger. No need to rush this kid. These forwards are off the books next year – Palat, Casey, MacLean and Maccelli. Eklund gets a good year in AHL…comes into next year stronger and gets a permenant spot

  4. Stats vs eye test.
Pager and Palat are playing…..well. Numbers dont always tell the story. Sometimes u have to truly understand hockey to see the difference.

  5. Play him with Ritchie and Ecklund and limit their minutes. Sit JGP and move up Schenn.
Or rest Casey and put JGP on the fourth but up their minutes.

  6. I don't think you take one guy out of the lineup. I think DeBoer will rotate guys out. Palat isn't going to play 84 games and even if he could will need breaks to remain fresh. Heineman a game, Duclair a game, Palat a game. He basically said that is what he is going to do with the D.
