Sabres special teams struggle again w/ Paul Hamilton | The Jeremy and Joe Show
Jeremy White and Joe DiBiase are joined by Buffalo Sabres beat reporter Paul Hamilton to break down the Sabres 4-3 shootout loss to the Montreal Canadiens. The guys stary by getting Paul’s thoughts on what he liked from the Sabres performance, and Paul highlights the goaltending and the drive from the team to come back from down 2 in the third period. They then discuss some of the issues including special teams, schedule, and defensive responsibility.

All I want for Christmas is a new goalie.
UPL is right, he gets paid to save the puck so he does need to do more. but we stayed stingy last night
They need to shoot more instead of making the perfect play.
By Christmas you’ll be saying. Byram who?
Paul was right about UPL here
Paul keeps referencing Timmins…the guy is always hurt
Remove Quinn off the PP, it’s been bad ever since he’s been the number 1 guy for last two seasons…he tries to beat guys one on one, he has no speed or moves, he attempts silly passes that get taken, no look behind the back passes to the other team. He’s never in a spot to shoot, he shoots and misses the net by 5 feet. Watch game yesterday, PP looked great until he started handling it too much. He doesn’t have the speed, quickness or smarts to be a guy leading team in icetime at forward. He should play 15 minutes and second PP unit. In OT he gets puck then falls down as always.
I am impressed with Zelly, excellent replacement for Byrum with a much higher upside in my opinion
Finish 8th or better in the conference.
Keep developing the young guys.
Carolina was out in the 2nd round,or the ECF, in each of the 6 years before they won last year.
Our frwds are a concern so far.
