We’re going over reports from Renaud Lavoie that suggest that Detroit Red Wings former captain Dylan Larkin would actually be okay with the Montreal Canadiens, but that others around him may need to be convinced.

I was also shocked to read that… After all that was said.
Family wouldn't even need to relocate it's close enough to Detroit
If it's Montreal, they gotta send Michael Hage back. I can't see Detroit making the trade unless he's involved, considering all the interest for Larkin from other teams. But I'm not sure Montreal would be willing to include Hage, so?
Reinbacher is intriguing, but I can't see Detroit trading Larkin for a defenceman unless, maybe, a 1st was included. Though Detroit does still have the Edvinsson mess going on, so if they were willing/able to trade Edvinsson for a center, then Detroit might be more open Reinbacher.
Just get him out of here! He acts like he is so brave for playing through the boos. What a soft bum.
If Larkin chooses to go to Montreal because they say "they want Larkin", that's a pretty foolish reason. Like everything else in life, with rare exception, people want a thing most of all BEFORE they get it. Whatever love Canadiens fans have for Larkin at this point would soon fade away – if he were actually on the team for awhile. No fault of Larkin's – it's just the way things are.
I made a personal bold prediction before the season started that Larkin would sign with Montreal and win the cup. Im a wings fan btw who lives in Quebec, but I would be happy to see success for Larkin and Montreal
Dach, Monty, a first and a second
we want bacon 🥓
Why don't we go for Seider instead? Beef up the D while keeping Hage in the wings? haha Wings, get it? ok, I'll see myself out now…
Kreider Larkin Demidov would be a bit like
Hagel/Killorn/ Palat with Point and Kucherov
Thats while getting Caufield Suzuki and Slavkovsky back together like last season. Crazy top 6
OK, let's do a blockbuster, which by definition has to hurt BOTH ways. Deal Larkin and Edvinsson to Montreal, for Lane Hutson and a top Center prospect.
Love for Montreal o get Larkin but Hate to have to trade Michael Hage
Let’s finally move on from Larkin and Edvinsson.
Not for Hage! Big mistake.
Stop trading Dach, Newhook, Reinbacher, Montembeault, 1st round pick which will be around 25th to 30th for a center of 70 to 80 points a year. To get Larking we would have to part with players like Caufield, Slafkovski, Demidov, Guhle. Zharovski and Hage won't cut it either as they haven't proved anything yet in the NHL.
And if Montreal gets Larkin and they get booted early in this years playoffs what’s to stop Larkin from rethinking Montreal. This would create a front office mess….I’d move on
Detroit says they want an equivalent Centre. MTL doesn’t have that. Detroit would have to be ok with kappy, plus, plus… I don’t think they do it.
come and win the cup in montreal!!
Renaud Lavoie 😅
He wont come to CANADA
It must be Brady Tkachuk's fault.
Please no Larkin we have 2.4 m cap space and his salary is 8.6 meaning we will be over the cap by 6 m not to mention the return cost ie players plus his contact is long and so is his age. Frankly we do not need a player who did not respect the current contract that he signed with. We do not need a diva and we do not need to unbalance the room which is certain this will do . SAY NO TO LARKIN
