NHL Highlights | Canucks vs. Devils – October 10, 2026

1. First comment and like 😊

2. horse crap camera operators

3. Hughes thinks he will get a HUGE contract? 🙂

4. Rodrigues spearing Rossi in the chest should've been a match penalty for attempt to injure, that was absolutely digusting.

5. Hronek needs to retire

6. Its funny when Canucks fans try to tell you how good Hronek is. He has always been awful. This game (and the last) just made it a bit more obvious.

7. Why was Lankinen in the net at for a while and then back to merilainen?

8. Congrats for Lombardi having his 0th goal of the season! 🥲

9. To counteract the time wasted in watching full mandatory YouTube ads, Canucks fans should skip to time index 1:15 to view the high point of their game. Stick it to the Man by not watching anything else!

10. Puck was very bouncy tonight. Coach should ask for a new one, knuckleball.

I like the smart pass cut offs

but doing a me and on the defense all the time….. however a good defense can be the best offense.

11. Terrible teams!

12. Lol Canucks.

13. The officiating this game made absolutely no sense how do you call a hook on the Canucks but then you miss a couple on the Devils make it make sense I'm blind I'm deaf I want to be a ref

14. Thrashed

15. I live in Van and follow them closely. This Quinn Hughes trade? For three players who had NHL experience. All former first rders. Man. None are very impressive. They traded him so fast too. Arguably the most wanted available player in the league. I dont like the what I see from any of these three

16. The Devils look average. The Canucks look awful

17. Last place, third pick here we come!!

18. Vancouver will be fine .. NJ is average and soooo overhyped… east coast teams have it easier to play on east coast (much less travel so more rest days)

19. Canucks need to work on that PK badly, it’s a pain to watch. How do you give up that many cross crease passes. Hronek hasn’t looked good either. The effort was there at least and Meriläinen should 100% be the starter moving forward.

20. I said this before. The Canucks are not a professional hockey team. A lower level team could beat them.

21. Devils look good. Allen was sharp. Canucks are demoralized.

22. I want a guaranteed top 3 pick in 2027 with the 1st pick in the 2nd round and #1 priority in the waiver wire until Nov 2027: Canucks fans everywhere in Oct 2026.

23. Didn't get shutout, wasn't a blow out, you all keep working hard & improving and continue the team jelling proccess, best success to all.

24. It has been 56 years. WHEN will Vancouver learn to shoot the puck!
I can HEAR Howie Meeker's voice "ya gotta shoot the puck"!
If you've been around long enough, you know what I'm saying.

25. Rodrigues bringing in the feistiness into Jersey from Florida, lmao.

Otherwise, great turnaround from the last 2 games, LGD!

26. What's the situation with the goalkeepers? One plays, then the other, then the first one comes back in.

27. Seemed like referees were looking to not call penalties against New Jersey . Helps Vancouver in the run for the 1st overall but at least make it a level playing field . Reminded me of the WNBA and it's treatment of Caitlyn Clarke .

28. I like Merilainen tonight. Even though we lost he kinda still did his job. He looked solid. Most of the goals weren't really his fault. We need to tighten up our defence. Hronek had a bad puck bouncing situation. Devils put on some pressure and also had a few lucky bounces. We gotta stop giving them power-plays. Why do I love the Vancity Canucks so much? 🙂

29. So the Canucks rebuild continues. They have to tighten up the defense, there is no excuse. Looks like Schenn is the only one trying. Mancini can go back to Abby to improve his game now.

30. Gonna be a loooooong season for the Canucks !!!

31. Looks like July 25 to August 2 is the only celebration and parade Vancouver fans can look forward to for a long time

32. I was there fun game devils looked good for once

33. canucks mite make the playoffs if the seasons were one game long lol this is the canucks way to many players not playing d.

34. now that all the new players forr the canucks have there con. destroyd whats next.

35. Great performance from hischier 2 goals captain leading by example

36. Canucks playing the puck too much, freaking play the man once in a while FFS!

37. Rebuilds are done by teams that can swap their veteran players when they have value. That and shrewd drafting. Canucks notoriously wait until they are forced to trade vets. When they are worthless. They even had to retain salary to trade Myers. Boeser, EP40. These guys cant even be given away. And like Ive said in an earlier post, and actually many times since it happened, they really just rushed the Hughes trade . I dont care if they were a first rounders. They all look average at best. Buium, the key piece, looks just awful.
Ohgren and Rossi have had NHL experience. They arent rookies. They arent impressive. That trade was absolutely critical

38. Now if the Devils can keep this kind of play up for the WHOLE SEASON that would be great.
