Now we’ll see if engstom gets moved for a bigger piece be it a 2C or rD. If not, at least we don’t have to see Stru and Xhekaj together any more

10. Nah, you put Reinbacher with Matheson first. David is the absolute perfect complementary super mobile, fast skater with a long reach and a brain like no other for gap control and defense reflexes to pick up some of Mike's current trash, mesh in correctly to support his offense as well and most importantly feed off his experience to ease back into the league and learn the systems. The ultimate pairing with Hutson can come later, we already know the chemistry is there and can be reactivated at any time.

    So this gives Engstrom a clear path to stay on the roster and Reinbacher will be the up and down as needed … Until Guhle back.
    Just let Reinbacher season in Laval, I don't think he's got enough to turn this around … The current guys need to figure it out, MSL and Lalonde need to get to work and maybe Guhle helps settle things

    Admirable job indeed, didn't have the bonehead plays, was trying to improve his physical game, and feels like there's some untapped offensive upside …

21. Hey Josh , the Habs have an open roster spot until Guhle is taken off of IR. That could be in a few days , or a few weeks. There is no rush. They still have to get Condotta off of IR and waive him back to Laval. In the mean time they can drop in Beck, or Reinbacher , or anyone else they want. No rush. Go HABs.

32. Finally. Respect Strubes, but this was needed. Always figured he was going to be the one to go, since least year at least. This was to make roster space fit, and make room for younger D, Engstrom is still big possibility to help get a bigger name player if need. Getting picks is still very important for Montreal, not to use in draft, but to pick up players on a selling team at the trade deadline. Those teams want picks and prospects, which Montreal is dying to unload.

    Glad to see Guhle back soon…. He’s my fave D on the team after Hutson.
