A
Offer sheet depending on how much he wants, we need our 2nd back from the Ducks
all these defensive rumors, but they CANT SCORE. So I guess yay?
Whichever can be acquired and signed for less is the one I would target, and if it doesn't work out, I'd not look back. Just because a good player is available doesn't mean they're automatically the answer to all the team's problems. I would be dealing Binnington, Buchnevich and Neighbors. I would be promoting Stenberg and Carbonneau and letting them play. I'd let Lindstein and Jiricek rack up top pairing minutes, just for the experience. If that means missing another playoff, so be it–the team needs to build chemistry. Above all, the problem with this team is that its fan base is spoiled. We expect to be annual competitors. Army's refusal to engage in a full-on rebuild, and his luck in acquiring a plethora of core-age assets, has only increased expectations. Let this team gel and evolve into real contenders before we start writing them off as the "same old Blues".
A. Edvisson would be better fot for the Blues but depends on how much money he wants and what Detroit wants on the trade if too much go after Nikishin then
