Jaden Schwartz got INSANELY lucky on this terrifying NHL play!
While skating along the boards, Schwartz was accidentally struck in the FACE by an opposing player’s flying skate after a big hit nearby!
The impact sent him crashing to the ice, leaving him bloodied. Thankfully, it appeared to be mostly the skate boot that made contact rather than the razor-sharp blade. 😱
This could’ve been SO much worse!

Should the NHL require FULL face shields to protect players? Or, is that just silly?
No, it should be their choice. The neck guard should be tho.
Sound fx really?
