21. It may sound cold but….Romanov was NOT part of the long term future of this team. Aitcheson and Gustafsson along with Schaeffer are the future left side of this team's blue line. I wish Romanov well but I don't expect to see him again playing for the Islanders.

23. I've had a torn ACL and surgery…. took 6 months for me before I was given the all good… it sucks… and for Romanov and the Isles. Just the one thing they didn't need was a D man going down.

24. I feel bad for the guy and I wish him a full recovery. Even before this happened I was discussing with my brother that we should move off of his contract because his no trade kicks in on July 1. My reasons are that I just don’t think he’s worth that contract. Do you guys know if his no trade gets pushed out another year because he’s gonna miss this season? I know It’s the ugly business side of sports but I’m just keeping it real. Last night I overreacted because I can’t stand losing to the rangers but our defensive pairings outside of whatever pair is with Schaefer is going to be tough to watch.

35. I love Romanov I think when he comes back he has a lot of holes to fill, I can’t stand another season of the Scott mayfield experience. It would be cool to see aitchenson out there I feel like the isles don’t have much to lose at this point.
