Why do we need Zary…he can't even make the Calgary roster… we have enough forwards… we need D… there is no chance we pick up Zary.
No Nashville is not a must win game, but if the Leafs lose, then they are 1-3 going into a tough 3 game road swing. vs Colorado, Vegas, and Utah on the road, a loss is more likely than a win. So if they come home the road swing 1-6, the season could now be on the line because having to make up 5 games just to hit .500 won't be easy.

Rather they struggle now while incorporating a bunch of new players into this years team. Combined with the exhibition games this will be GM 5 and after 10 gms if they haven’t improved than you worry and start making changes. They have had great starts in previous years and gone no where but this season is complete different and have faced to very hot goalies out of the first 3 games. Media and talking heads need to relax but slow news day in this city gets overblown by them.

I think you guys missed a key piece of the Sid comments. Gavin specifically said he did it so his body was fresh… He's 18 years old. He should be fresh for every game. He should be working harder than everyone. That's why him skipping the practice raised alarms. I do agree that he could have easily had a few points by now. His linemates areookong awful atm.
