The danger is thinking that this run is indicative of anything sustainable. Sure, the work ethic and commitment to playing the right way should be. But if we get too carried away, we'll be right back where we started, with mediocrity. You can absolutely come out of a rebuild early. Montreal did it. But you can't blow up the plan after a year because you're off to a good start. This is the point where you start looking to move more veterans that have significant value.
Give it a month I have seen this script played out for decades .
Debrusk plays until he's gone. Make it so.
It’s a new season the past is past the Canucks can turn the book in and start a new story Go! Canucks Go!
Shockingly nice to hear Judas Paterson speak some positive words finally, the biggest rebuild in Canuck land is the media… EP40 is finally climbing out of the dumpster fire Quit H left behind, he and Miller were the main Ego/locker room/culture problems but the media spins it to Petey… Toronto media vilified Marner and he left and nearly won a cup in first year… spin positivity and Petey and all Nucks will respond in kind… this is a 3-10 year needed change and it is off to an awesome entertaining start… ps Gallagher has been triple the player so far than Boeser, he so slow and plays scared but alas the bad press gets shifted…. GO CANUCKS GO wooo
Yo, Cotter's on pace for an 84-goal, 126pt season. Better sign him to an extension before he makes $18mil/season in the open market…Lolol
I'm so sick of EP haters saying he can't be an 80+ plus guy again umm hello he's basically been that at least pace wise for most of his career .
Two poor seasons that stemmed from a terrible system/ culture/ health etc is why he struggled.
I've said all summer he will get his redemption and fuck all the media and fans that tried to run him out of town.
Fucking fake fans.
3 On 2 Woulda Passed Back 2 #KEEPETTEY 40 4 2 0 LEADERS 4 GO CANUCKS GO !
HYPE HYPER BURELIAS HITS PLAY LIKE US'ALLS ALAS GO CANUCKS GO !
how about that pin ball Wizard Lankmeister with the "on yer knees double flipper along the ice and into the corner" saves?
vancouver media are hilarious..
great stuff sending paterson a microphone so he can talk with high quality from home, exquisite professionalism.. wish more did that. after all. this is the new radio. might aswell get the audio right.
Seeing 11.6 mill/season as possibly a bargain for Petey was not on my Bingo card after last season.
I am looking for signs of the EP40 sulk after a play goes wrong and I have not seen it. I know its way early but he looks like a player with the weight of the world no longer on his shoulders.
