Paul Maurice: Barkov Update after Florida Panthers Practice in Los Angeles

The Panthers (1-0-2) are coming off a 3-2 loss in OT to the host Anaheim Ducks on Sunday.

On Sunday, the Panthers got Brad Marchand back for the first time since March after putting captain Sasha Barkov on LTIR.

Down 2-1 late in the second, the Panthers got the game-tying goal from Marchand with 1:50 left. Carter Verhaeghe tied the score at 1 in the first.

Florida wraps up the road trip Tuesday against the Los Angeles Kings at 10 (ESPN).

  1. Only good thing we got is the rest of the team is healthy and hungry that definitely wasn’t the case last season heal up come back ready for playoffs cap 🫡

  2. Armando Velez of Locked on Panthers reported he’ll be back in 10-12 weeks, but didn’t mention the actual injury. I assume it’s MCL related, but weird for him to report it on Twitter when the coach is saying they don’t know for sure exactly what it is?

    You think he just made it up and it’s educated guess or is he a legit reporter?!? He certainly doesn’t travel with the team like these reporters.😅
