1. Gavin is too light to NHL. He is bit afraid of heavy contacts.

   He has 10-15 games to show if he belongs to NHL this season. If yes , he has. reach minimum 40 points.

2. Jim Hiller is much more dynamic coach than Old School Chief was…..right choice to lead the team back to play offs.

   They have now two good goalies. That helps a lot on the way.

3. It's good they spilt this back to back, get a days rest Thursday than back practicing Friday and Saturday, than play Saturday night vs the Sens.

4. ⛸🏒🥅Even though the team chemistry is still a work in progress, it's been a long time since I've seen the Leafs win a "team" game. It was nice to see them play together as a team. Can't wait to see how this progresses through the year. Great work, boys! 👍🏼

12. Despite the win the leafs spent too much time in their own zone.

13. Sisson has jump. I never watched him play before but he's really creating chances and being dangerous. Might not have the same level of talent as Nylander or the other guys but he seems to be the type of player Hymen is.

14. Man I’ve been beyond impressed with Cowan. For just his 2nd year he looks really comfortable out there!

17. Nylander was responsible for Stolarz not getting the shutout, he resorted to his lazy self on the back check and ended up on the wrong side of the puck. He will never change, I would have sent a message to Nylander and the rest that lazy efforts will get you benched.

18. And kyper says he isn’t ready. Seems more ready than the rest of the team.

19. 34 not passing to a wide open Gavin coming on the rush and waiting for OEL was messed up!! Sure he made mistakes in the Habs game, but you can’t loose trust in the kid day 2. Captain said it himself in an interview I just watched about players making mistakes.
    Meanwhile Matthew’s waiting around for a pass instead of getting in there and earning it drives me crazy!!

25. As much as I was wondering the same thing, I'm glad he didn't answer about the tattoo (he clearly didn't want to). Good on him for handling the pressure!

26. I wasn't impressed with Cowan last year. I thought he was completely lost on the ice and over-thinking the game which caused him to be horrible defensively. So, coming into this season, I had very low expectations, but WOW, this kid looks awesome! He's into the flow of the game and letting his natural offensive instincts take over. I enjoy seeing him and Gavin on the ice at the same time. I'd love to see these two really get comfortable with each other and it could be an unstoppable tandem. I love the balance of this roster, everyone has a slot they are suited for and as they get used to each other the goals will come. I am on the edge of my seat watching this team, knowing at anytime something exciting is capable of happening. GLG!
