Matthew Knies & Emil Andrae Took The Ice In Union Blue For The First Time! | Media Availability

1. I say give Knies the “C”. I’ve seen enough.

2. I get a feeling knies might get a chance to wear a letter before they make any real decisions about captains. Spread the love around a lil bit and see who thrives when they’re called upon

3. Welcome to CBJ 💯🫶🏻 can’t wait for opening night

4. I like the captaincy decision. Doesn't make sense today to put the C on Zach if he chooses to leave in a year. But making him the only permanent A pretty much says you are the Captain. If you extend him next year then boom the C goes on him.

And it's about time some of the young guys speak up. And rotating to various guys I like.

5. Knies just looks like such a great fit. Really can’t wait for the season to start and see what this team can do! Looks to be a great ride!!

6. Kniesy is captain material. Will miss him in TOR but glad I can still drive to see him from Detroit.

7. Leafs, fan here, I think this trade will work out for both teams. Good luck, Columbus for the year. You guys will love Knies. He's a great guy, great player.

8. Another Leafs fan here and Jackets fans will love Knies. As long as he stays healthy he can threaten for 30 goals 70-75 points a year. Marchenko has a higher potential to score on the Leafs but Knies power game is a rarity in the league when he's healthy.

9. I’m worried he isn’t excited? He’s hard to read!

10. Great to see KJ smiling I hoping for a big year for him a dynamic player I’m really excited to see what this season brings it’s a great team full of character let’s show the NHL what a great organization we are

11. Gonna miss opening night in person but will be there Saturday and can’t wait for this season to start. Let’s GO!

12. I miss Matt i was a huge fan and will remain a huge fan

13. Who's you captin chat was beautiful jets fans
