There is no reason for a 3 team trade. The deals fall apart when they negotiate an extension with Nikishin. He's an interesting player, but not a cant miss slam dunk. His age helps and hurts him. Sure he's a rookie but he has several seasons of pro hockey under his belt. If he put up 30pts at 18-20, thatd be something.
Anything can be done. Whether it’s the right move is another question. Mailloux will be back in 8-10 weeks. It would be great if Adam Jiricek can at least hold his own or show that it’s not too big for him. If that happens, you’re in a good spot. Stay where you’re at. JMO
