The New Jersey Devils played their fourth and final preseason game of the 26-27 season against the New York Islanders on 9/26/26.
See some action from morning skate and hear from Brett Pesce and Sheldon Keefe afterwards.
Then I head to UBS Arena for the game. We go on a brief arena tour, which includes the Stan Fischler Press area.
After the game hear from Luke Evangelista and Sheldon Keefe.
It was a solid showing for the Sunny Mehta era Devils in their final dress rehearsal before the 2026-27 regular season kicks off.

I hope NJ News reimburses you for the gas and tolls. It ain't cheap these days. hahaha. In seriousness, at 10:40, the tailgate bar…where they have those stands right behind the seats…that is a great idea! One of the few stands where you can go in the middle of a period, and not miss the game. I looked up the Benihana. It looks very overrated. I get they need to limit the menu….but they leave so many classic items out that are traditionally served with your meal at a hibachi place. If you're in North NJ, try Izumi in Wayne or Kiku in Paramus…those 2 are the best hibachi restaurants ever. And I have had hibachi all over the east coast. Nothing compares. lol
