Maybe it's time to discuss what I want to see in a new GM. First, Illitch needs to be TOTALLY hands off. If Illitch blocks something the GM should IMMEDIATELY make it public. Second, the youth movement. All the young talent doesn't matter if it doesn't play. Lombardi working his way up to a ppg guy for GR from a 4th e round pick and he doesn't get even a look? Rasmussen has regressed. Compher has regressed. Players who regress should have their jobs on the line if they can't out produce the kids.
