10. Best pre season game for the Canucks. The Canucks PP in the 3rd period was dancing and had the Kraken in the spin cycle. Possibly one of the best EP40 games in a long while. The Canucks also dominated in the face-off circle tonight. Bring on the regular season. Canucks hockey is back and so is Rink Wide with Jpat & friends.

11. Was very impressed with Peteys overall game who was making good solid crafty plays throughout the game and was really quick to all rhe spots looking dangerous pushing the play all night and showing flashes of gis elite skill.
    Was good to see them come up and stick with it fighting some rust again early and down 2 early on Lankinen looking soft and shaky like last season.
    Lankinen scares me with all the brutal rebounds and when he sells out scrambling putting himself out of position extremely vulnerable leavimg the net wide open. Wasn't strong enough on that 3rd goal either not liking him making himself look so small there and leaving so much net open on that simple move he got beat on.
    Was kind of funny to see Boeser and Karlsson 2 players who fought the puck all night mishandling and messing up most plays most of the night but making some nice plays on the goals scored. I find that with these players they can look slow and can have a hard time making the right plays and play clean hockey but then out of nowhere finally do something good and its in the net lol
    Anyway lots of positive signs against a very fast pesky team thats great on the forecheck and hard to play against so you have to resilient and stick with it to beat them.

    Hronek has really struggled hopefully he can cleab it up fast and get his A Game back the team is really gojng to rely on him a lot.

    Too bad Cootes isn't a year older and more experienced because the team needs soeed that guys like the Bains, Raty and Karlssons don't bring to a team with core players we have to have play who arevt that fast either. Against the faster teams in the league just can't have too many of these guys so hopefully we can add a speedy guy with skill and potential to add to this lineup and get Chytil back asap who can really skate.

12. Catton's goal (3rd) was clearly offside , interesting you guys never mention or notice it? Also , Petey has clearly worked on his faceoffs. 80% ? Has never been this good before. Lekk and Bains need to play more minutes , I'm seeing encouraging signs

Funny people high on Karlsson but over these last 2 games I disagree and he definitely wasn't doing the simple plays well in either game, was mishandling pucks for no reason, making poor passes and bad plays non stop and pretty much the only times he finally did something right he ended up getting on the scoresheet making things happen offensively lol
    If anyone was to isolate all his shifts watching closely and say he played well would have to be drunk lol
    I ttought he totally fought the puck in both games and don't love his reaching penalties when chasing in bad position like he does either. Anytime you're a slow player reaching in bad position like that you'll get a penalty more time than not.
    Saying the Canucks dont have power play guys is silly their powerplay was great especially last half of the season and that was with Petey struggling and no Chytil who I think is definitely right with Petey for offensive potential and definitely a step above the others.
    If Chytil can finally get a break with unlucky injuries he could really suprise a lot of people and have a great offensive season which would definitely make the power play cook.
