  2. I think Wallander has a ? Mark on him. He played real well the first 2, he didn’t necessarily struggle but that 1 2-1 he got caught. But quick passes all over the ice, maybe a few where he didn’t make a play at all or the wrong pass.

    I think Jo is the obvious one he’s been exceptional, if he plays a good game Saturday he’ll make it I think. But maybe not just because of the business side with Faulk being a player. Pelly and JBD are the odd man out with Pelly I think making it on pair 3

    All of this said I think they are planning a 3rd pair of Pelly and JBD if eddy isn’t signed. Top 4 is simple

    Wallander might sit as 7th unless we send down JBD to see if he’ll get claimed, but with that we would have to be really confident in Jo after solid but small sample size

    The real ? Is this offseason let Faulk walk trade JBD maybe look into moving Chairot with him Albert Jo, Eddy blocking any LHD prospects. I don’t know if bennys on a NMC for next year

  7. copp cannot be 1c. He is dragging down raymond and cat. The sabres played hardly none of their regulars and raymond and cat couldn't produce until the powerplay. I pray todd is not serious about having that being the line when larkin is back because if he is this season is forfeit.

  17. Maybe going out on a limb here, but I'm really liking what this team is showing so far this pre-season. I agree with all the folks out there saying there needs to be a spot on this team for Anton. Lots of good energy from this group already. The Wings made the right call to hold off on naming the captain, I think. See where the respect is coming from the most from the other guys before doing so (will be another tough call – Cat or Mo?).

Last year when someone asked Todd about Cat fighting occasionally he said that he loves Cats fire and Cat is an extreme competitor and as long as he isn't doing it all the time he trusts Cats judgement to fight when he feels it's necessary. Not an exact quote but he said something along those lines. Todd said that about Cat when he fought defending Larkin against Ottawa last year and also when Cat picked a fight against Olivier. Cat is so awesome. Been my favourite player for a while now

  22. I was a red wings season ticket holder for 45 years. So this is all bottled up, take the time to read if you chose as it’s long. As a female we may not get taken seriously with hockey talk but I spent alot of money , time , energy , tears into this team. The yzerman hate upsets me , and here’s why . Chris illitch and Ken holland were the two issues that ruined this orginization. What they did to al sabotka not even giving the guy his dues over that fact he peed down a sewage drain with nobody around. That’s the lack of empathy and pettiness I can’t stand from. CEOS. Mike illitch on other hand cared about everyone . He helped bob probert avoided major jail time for that cocaine charge . He paid for vladdi. His son Chris is a drug addict just like his brother. He doesn’t know crap about this sport or how to run a team. He’s a trust fund baby.

    Anyways , Lidstrom and Kronwall yzerman drafted seider , Augustine, (best college goalie 2 straight years )Raymond, edvinson, bransegg nygard, Pellika, carter bear , max plante (hobey baker) finnie (7th round) , he stole an ahl 40 goal scorer in John Leonard for nothing , he just traded cossa to draft the second best scorer in whl jp hulbert. team. Yzermanstole Postava the goalie. He’s a stud and he should be here too! Tarasov blows just like cam Talbot. But but it’s night and day between yzerman and holland . I still can’t believe Ken holland has a job in hockey after holland took Rasmussen in first round, took zadina over Quinn Hughes ( quin was a monster at Michigan ) and giving Darnell nurse 9 mil a year ?, gave abdelkader 7 year deal when he’s a Grindr , gave ericsson 5 year deal , gave Stephen Weiss and Fran’s neilsen 5 year deals when their stats before those deals weren’t close to that money given and term

    Steve yzerman had to clean messes up for 3 years first. So it really wasn’t 7 years of yzerman people . Yzerman didn’t start fresh until year 4 after cleaning Up hollands zero hockey iq monstrosities. . Holland was only good when there was no salary cap. Salary cap exposes a lot of fraudulent people. Holland is a fraud.

    Yzermans players look real good just saying. Postava should be here . He’s better than Tarasov sorry it’s obvious. Also John Leonard mazur (also sisters of the blind and sisters of the poor )would produce more then. Compher copp Rasmussen ( yes yzerman didn’t anticipate copp and compher to get paid and pull a space jam where the looney toons a zapped all their talent out of their bodies ). That’s what copp compher Rasmussen play like . Those players make way too much money and are taking jobs from real young talent . Us fans are sick of watching copp compher rasmuseen. They never score they never hit anyone and they can’t fight .So there is no justifiable reason why our 3 worst players the last 3 years to still be on our nhl roster. John Leonard is getting screwed as did Lombardi . Copp compher Rasmussen have not earned any ice time. I’m sorry , be honest. Those 3 are a big reason we have missed playoffs. When we needed secondary scoring those 🤡 ‘s went 20 games at a time without a single goal. Thats quarter of the season without a goal from all 3 guys and they play ALOT. OF MINUTES LET GAME. If I was gm or coaching , every single guy would have to have a broke ankle for those 3 to ever play. I would take 3 guys off university of Michigan right now throw them on 4th line and they would outplay , outscore and outhit copp compher Rasmussen. It’s why I gave my season tickets back . Zero accountability anymore. Same no production , boring hockey. Rasmussen should have been on waivers 3 years ago. When someone passes him the puck and he tries to catch a pass by the net it’s like a grenade hits his blade. He fumbles the puck or skate to the corner on his backhand does nothing then goes back to bench. Rinse repeat 3 straight years. His stats are an insult to the nhl. . He doesn’t use his size either. He never screens. He coulda been like Holmstrom but Rasmussen has 💩 for a brain and never is where he is supposed to be. Rasmussen is one of the worst red wings that Ive ever seen. He should not Be in the nhl. GR has had so many players that are better than him that never got the chance. Rasmussen has to be married to the owners daughter or he has a compromising picture of the owner giving it to a 🫎 . There’s just no way he would stay in the nhl this long. He got worse each year. Figure that one out?
