Bryan Hayes joins SC with Jay Onrait for another edition of Harvey’s Hot Takes, where he shares his opinion on whether Mike Babcock will be a good fit as the Oilers head coach, what his first impression of Gavin McKenna’s Leafs debut was, and who he likes to ultimately win the NFC North.

Leafs were not a Cup contender last season and they wont be this season.
Time will tell if Babcock will continue being a good fit as Oilers’ head coach.
Nice try sneaking in some trash leafs talk at the end
BYE!
Is the defense a good fit… that's my question
The coaching staff in Edmonton is top notch. Babcock is trying to coach his way back into the league, he will have to adapt as well.
Because they already have good replacements on the payroll.
His no nonsense approach seems to be what the leadership group wants.
What a CRAZY take. 🤦♂️
Up to this point i just think mcdavo n drai are happy with how he is handling the media 😂 cause damn our reporters are MAD. Lmao
I swear they get anyone to talk on these shows. McDavid said early on the Knob was a great coach and they needed his calm voice when he came in. Then things changed and they needed a new voice. It’s nothing against Knob, it’s just a change of scenery. Also you know nothing about puck if you think babs is performative. Dude is more straight to the point and honest that it hurts
bab better get to the finals in year 1 and 2. Otherwise it was a failure compared to knobber
