There 1 young center away from competing for the 2nd line minutes. But having a line like Paul, Tavares Nylander is enough insulation for them to not have to carry the secondary scoring burden alone.

Part of the problem with Mckenna last year… Yes his point total was impressive, but 10 of the 51 points happened in 1 weekend series against Ohio state. IT was an impressive game (8 pts in 1 game). Record breaking even. But a slow start, at times no where during games over the rest of the season, and didn't show much in the postseason.

Definitely agree that Chadwick is going to play NHL games in a few seasons. Watched him his entire WHL career in Lethbridge as a STH and knew from the get-go there was something there. Didn’t get to see a ton of Marlies games but I imagine his skating is still fairly rough if he was anything like he was here. Otherwise, sounds like he just needs to gain some experience in pro hockey and develop along with the system.

I think Koblar will be a beauty. He plays grumpy, has great vision, plays centre in SHL as an 18, and is long. He belongs in tier three but I believe he'll prove himself to be a tier two guy 10 years from now. 2 or 3 C one day.
Everyone saying Danford is in teir 2 is wrong. His ceiling is a top 4 defenseman. He should never see the top pair, but since the leafs always have a bad defense he will probably get top pair minutes

I have danford in 2 level he will be be a top deman like tanev playing with the top high end defenceman on a team I think he is ready and by end of year will be in lineup full time
Steve spending 15 minutes ball stroking Gavin McKenna is a little much. We get it Steve. He is the 1 overall pick. You do not have to sell us on him. Everyone knows he is a future superstar and potential captain for the Leafs someday.
