This Premier League Gameweek 5 overview looks at one of the biggest shocks of the season so far as Arsenal suffered a heavy defeat to Brighton & Hove Albion. Is this just a bad day at the office, or should Arsenal fans be concerned about their start to the 2026/27 campaign?
Meanwhile, Tottenham Hotspur suffered another damaging result against Aston Villa, and I’m asking whether Spurs could genuinely find themselves in a relegation battle. Brighton’s incredible start also raises a much bigger question: can they really be considered Premier League title contenders?
The 26/27 season is already throwing up some huge surprises. Who has impressed you most after five gameweeks?

Great vid! would love if subs were shown, don't know how but would be useful! Get well soon 🙂
Let me know how happy you are with your team's start to the season!
I love the clips, makes it so much more engaging
There could be many players of the week but my favorite is Brian Brobbey. Hope he has many more goals this season.
i was happy with our performamce at city but disappointed with the result. Wve played 3 of the top 4 in our first 5 games and we have Brighton next. The fixture gods are not on our side 😂 performances have been better game by game. Just need the points on the board now.
