Honestly who comes up with these questions. Does the press group actually think the fans want to know the answer to, "Hey Connor, when the coach wants us to do something, what do you do as the Captain, do you talk to the team about getting better…" WTF man have you never been around hockey!!!!
Seriously, what we want to hear is what is it like with a new coach, how are the new players looking, feedback on the make up of the team. Also, if there was a bad game or a bad play don't beat around the bush just ask a direct question why.
So hyped for the season!!
Connor said something interesting in a press conference. He said that he needs to be coached. I get the sense that the other coaches let him do whatever and he didn’t like that.

Over the last few years the Oilers have created some very bad habits and no one was their address, or remedy it. Now it has become a part of their playstyle and it needs to be fixed! lol. Happy that Babs is here to do this and also happy that McDavid is aware of it. He can't keep carrying the team and they need to keep working at it. Growth isn't comfortable.
They only ask questions they know the answer to.
