Last season was incredible and proof that the team is still solid but like Dubas said we arent making short term moves because our window isn't there anymore. Majority of our contracts expire after this year and next season.
Im predicting this will be a non playoff year but we are in transition and in a good direction. The Ruck twins will develop and we will quickly go from an old team to a young team. Give us 4 more years and we will be back to being the perennial playoff team we always have been.
P.S Letang is my goat but he is indeed washed 🙁
I’m not saying they are a playoff team but they are about the same as they were last year. Dubas has done an amazing job considering what he walked into. Some bad contracts from previous regime. Basically no assets or young promising prospects. I think their direction is pretty clear though Adam. Try to give Crosby as much runway as possible while collecting assets and refilling the prospect cupboard and dubas has done a great job doing that
