Couple of things….i really like Cowan, last season the team was bad, but he showed up, played well, and was willing to scrap if needed, he showed good leadership qualities for a rookie and i think he is being somewhat underrated, As for McKenna, just do as your asked and be quiet about it, 1st line, 2nd line, go where the coach puts you because in the big picture it is all to give you the best chance to be a great NH player, you dont need Auston yet, but a little NHL experience may get you on the first line (Ps, be careful what you say, this town can be really tough on a player)

  5. Matthews is Not a good leader in my opinion. He's too stoic. And he doesn't jump in to help his teammates when there's a skuffle. He's a great player, especially goal scorer. But I think he sucks as a leader imo

  7. When the Leafs hired Berube i was not happy! I knew that his style would hurt Matthews especially when i started seeing him doing 3rd line duties! Berube style can be successful but you need a Goalie that can take on the load and a defense that is really good. This style is not fun and can be really draining! I feel that what happened in the 2nd Round vs Florida was a shame and the Leafs should have beat Florida huge that year but Sam Bennet elbowing Stolarz was Disgusting and hurt the leafs! Karma is a Biatch is all i will say!
    With Woll they made it to game 7 but Woll wasnt that guy to come up with the huge save when needed and in game 3, Leafs winning 3-1, Woll let in a really weak goal! The Leafs should have been up 3-0 in that series and would have won within the next 2 games.
    They had the team! They were hungry! But when you get scummy players who have No Class and willing to hurt an ex teammate to win, theres a special place for you!
    That was a disgrace and I hope the Leafs make them pay one day in the playoffs! 4-0 sweep! This team has the players to do it! All they need is the Will, The Hunger and Drive to Win!

  9. The Leafs D is way too old . I’m no Habs fan . There D is young , fast , and can mix it up . The East will be a dog fight right until the playoffs start. Every team will need to be in shape out of the gates .

  12. Rielly making 7.5 million on the 3rd pair makes no sense. He hasn't been good on D and has been with the leafs the longest only winning one round in the playoffs. The D is too old compared to Montreal the goalie Bob will get alot of shots.
