The Leafs will come out flying. They will be world-beaters for around the first 10 games. Then the lack of chemistry will start to catch up with them. There will be a low period and after a month or two they will get to around full power. The team is a better team than last year by far but the defense is shaky with those 3 question mark guys and the overall age of the rest. Overall a better team with tons and tons of offense. People are really not counting those 3rd and 4th liners. Whenever I was betting and had to pick lower guys practically everyone of those guys I chose except Duhaime. Anyway every season is a roller coaster so buckle up and enjoy the ride.
The bottom 6 is definitely much better compared to last season
You realize that Cowan is a right winger. And he is a better player than Roslovec. And Rielly only has a virus and might only miss the 1st game. So I would put Cowan on the First line. And Roslovec on the 3rd line

Bottom six looks great. My issue is that I don't really know why Roslovic is on the top line. I get he is buds with Matthews, but I don't think he's ever been a top line forward. Also were one Tanev injury away from a problem for our D….and he's rarely stays healthy at this point especially given the way he plays.

Lorentz, MacEwen, and Stecher on the bubble! Not convinced these 3 players remain with the Leafs? I think Chayka wants to acquire another "POWER FORWARD," and a "D-MAN" with size and grit! IMO.
