The Bolduc contract is a bit long and higher than i would like but its not that bad. I am just not as high on Bolduc as some here…

Lads…..we need to NOT be questioning the signing of Kreider as some commenters seem to be doing….he is a major addition to the Habs lineup. He's 6'3" and 230 lbs. This guy is exactly what Les Habs have needed & he can really help the team.
Only POSITIVE focus on Chris signing with the Habs.

Kreider is a 35 point guy
Krieder is basically Gallagher but bigger in near end prime.
Why alter the Top 6 or assume the Top 6 will include Kreider? Kreider is bottom 6 until he earns a promotion by MSL to supplant Newhook, which might be hard to do. A vet line of Kreider-Danault-Anderson is fine with me, and a 4th line of Bolduc-Evans-Dach is fine as well.
My only concern is his age
If they could somehow pry marchenko out of columbus. We would be a cup favorite
I think kreider will get around 20 goals because he won't get 1st unit powerplay time
Newhook can skate but iq and creativity is lacking to be a center
As much as I dislike cheering for Kreider, he’s a great fit for our team. He can also help mentor Bolduc who can hopefully add some of Kreider’s grit and play in the dirty areas.
He plays with newie and demi, he puts in 20 min. as for salary 3 m are bonuses on cap NEXT year,when habs will have 30m cap space, so peanuts. plus he only signed 1 year not 4 🤷
If he takes Dobes out after hitting in the face during warmups ……..
And it cost virtually nothing to get him, no assets, no picks.
Bolduc, knew he wasnt going to get huge bucks, because lets be honest he really under performed last year, but could release some big potential.
