  1. Hey Jessie! Hope you read this! You did mention the connection between Jeff Gorton and Chris Kreider having a possible impact on the signing, but you did forget to mention another very important relation between Kreider and a former teammate of his, that also might have moved the needle: Marty St-Louis!

  2. It really looks like a win win situation for the Habs. Veteran that will help out the young guys and he is still a great forward. Yes! I still remember the Price incident and hated him for so long but for me it's a forgiven but not forgotten situation.

  3. As someone whose family treats the gabs like a religion but I'm the odd one out as a Dallas fan I still I hated kreider for what he did to Price but that was a long time ago and he is going to most likely help the Habs and I'm actually excited to see what he could do playing with Demidov

  4. Can't stand this clown. I wish the Bruins had picked up this guy. He had a good year with the Ducks. He was third in power play minutes on that team and he had 8 goals of his 22 and 17 of his 50 points on the power play. He was sixth among Duck forwards in minutes played.
Who is this old goomer supposed to replace on the Habs Power play?
    Caufield, Demidov. SlafkovskY?
    He's better than Bolduc.
    I can't stand this guy.
He has to play second line minutes and I think he misses 20 goals in a season for the first time in nine years.
I like Newhook better than this guy who I imagine has really slowed down. I like Texier better than this guy.
He is an old career 2/3 of a point a game guy who wont get the power play time he got with Anaheim.
H emight be too slow to play on this team.
We dont want him taking out goalies period. .

  5. I've moved on from it. It was 8 years ago ppl..MOVE ON. I guarantee you Price has. This contract is a MASSIVE bargain. What a signing by Master Manager Hughes. Kreider ticks off so many boxes for us, it can only benefit the team. LETS GO!

  6. I LOVE the deal, I was not the biggest Kreider fan, obviously, im a Habs fan, but he's the kind of guy u hate when he's playing against u, but when he's on your team…Plus it's $2.15M, even if he maxes out the bonuses, that doesnt count against the cap, just the $2.15M.

  7. Montreal needed experience after letting Gallagher go.
The Habs needs grit, which Kreider provides.
Did I hate him for what he did to Price? Yes, but that was 12 years ago.
He is a good fit right now, and the price / lenght of contract is great.
As a Habs fan, I'm happy.
