At some point, someone is going to need goaltending so I say just let him sit. The odds of every contender having great goaltending are not good.
What people don’t realize is teams are not gonna just cave in the next week and all of a sudden decide they wanna get an All-Star goaltender. There is absolutely no doubt this is not getting resolved until at November.
The longer it goes the less you get if anything at all.
Idc if it's futures or help rn it definitely will be a distraction if the season is underway and he's not dealt.
A bigger question and long can Hellybuck pout. No team has the cap or need for him now. If he doesn't play well, he's not going to get traded this season.
