Vegas Golden Knights weigh late free agent signings: Could Reilly Smith, Vladimir Tarasenko, or Evander Kane reshape the roster before camp? With salary cap limitations and key unsigned players like Smith, Tony Dasco and Chris Gawlik debate which veterans or PTO candidates best fit coach Ryan Craig’s system and the team’s immediate needs.
The conversation focused on Vegas’ hard-working core—Mark Stone, Brayden McNabb, and Jack Eichel—while spotlighting Brendan Brisson’s uncertain future after landing a two-way contract with the Toronto Maple Leafs. As the Golden Knights navigate tricky cap math and veteran options, questions arise: Will Vegas opt for one-year deals or roll the dice with proven grinders? Can gritty newcomers spark another playoff push? This episode unpacks potential roster moves, the value of blue-collar work ethic, and names every Golden Knights fan should watch.

Props to Tony, I honestly didn’t think Tony knew who Mac Miller was. Lmao! RIP Miller
First met a 23 year old Pat Brisson hockey clinics and playing Advanced Level Recreational league hockey in LA..the Gretzky Trade to Kings Era.
Hard pressed to recall a more hardworking ambitious young man. Taught me a lot about having a vision and a dream to succeed. He had not made roster after draft to Habs so no problem. Wow that had to be discouraging I thought. Not at all. You go to Plan B. ✅
Interesting to watch Brendan Brisson with legacy of his dad who really worked to make his breaks. As a player Pat was so competitive. I was laughing in the tiny league office as he called me mornings to find out how many points his chief rival had scored. You can’t be serious! Finishing first the trophy for Top Scorer he wanted it. And yes he got it. 🍃🏒🥅💫
