i agree about the power play, i really hope they split up nate and marty (although when marty first came over they looked great together, after having bennet coach them the magic isnt there anymore..) and run 2 pps this season vs trying to just force the top unit out there for 1:45 every power play…
i mean the pp is shit anyways so at the very least we may as well let the top guys get some more rest so they can dominate even more on 5v5…
gotta get the pp going though and i think the biggest factor is getting cale back on form with his shot.. which is a huge concern given what we saw last season and then his shoulder issue now…
Avs are 3rd oldest with a 41 year old Brent Burns raising that average a bunch on his own, as it stands Dallas is the 11th oldest team and is only 0.89 of a year younger then the Avs including 41 year old Burns. Florida is older then us and have the best odds to win it, were second best odds barely behind them.
Come on September 30, come on!!!!
If the avalanche were all in they wouldn't have gotten rid of Drury, Colton, Druin, Miko,or any top forward on the team from the past 5 seasons.
Can't wait until the season starts!
