The NHL season hasn’t even started yet, but the next wave of trade speculation is already beginning.
Daily Faceoff’s Dave Pagnotta joins Countdown to Hockey to reveal the players and teams he’s already watching as potential trade targets once the 2026-27 NHL season gets underway.
Pagnotta names Alex DeBrincat as the first player on his trade board, explaining why Detroit’s uncertainty, Dylan Larkin’s situation and DeBrincat’s contract status could make him an intriguing name to watch as the season progresses.
