Pacific is looking to be absolutely awful this year again. Ducks could very well make the playoffs, but not sure they do much with no defense or top tier goaltending.
Didn’t know you’re 29 yrs old. Ducks have a roster turnover that reminds me of a collegiate team that wins the NC due to senior vets that comes into next season with mostly lower (freshman-sophomore classmen) though obviously not the ducks postseason ending, but potentially a new identity. It’s tripped my expectation mgmt. Most peace I’ve felt – weird. I know I speak for the minority- I just want to see who will step up and be the new Cutter or Leo. And if it doesn’t happen. I’m patient with this quasi rebuild.
Besides it seems how Q coaches and Verbeek drafts – they need non stressed athletes avoiding creativity killing limbic-amygdala mode over thinking due to weird mind pressures and just let it rip and see the growing pains as necessary learning curves – while the rest of you throw a banana at the screen or worse live (lol). I admit I’m a fair weather fan so I know I speak for myself. But man, this last playoffs their losses would ruin my day. Like I was taking it personal with other fanbases and not feeling that yoke anymore.

I think Clara proved his worth in the Olympics, would love to see him given a chance to be our backup.
