Timo comes from a very beautiful part of Switzerland! But there is not ONE square foot of flat terrain. They have hills and mountains everywhere! They produce a lot of top-quality agricultural products (they are also big cheese heads) and have wonderful traditions in that corner of Switzerland.
Great to see what an inspiration he is to the youngsters and the sincere effort he puts into working the boys. Great guy!
I guess in Switzerland we would call his playing style (Schneepflueg oder Brecher) snowplow or somebody who breaks things (opponent player). He is one of the few Swiss players who understands his physicality as one of his great attributes. He has that very rare talent to be a physical player who is at the same time a natural scorer with a great shot! He is an important part of the Swiss national team too! The big one is coming Timo (maybe his mom will be very proud in Germany next year)…
Hope he gets 30+ goals – alongside Nico and the good winger on the other side, he can easily make this. Hope the Devils give him a lot more first power play opportunities!
