A wealth of young talent might be an exageration but for a ckntender-sure. And for what theyve been. But i love Hughes-he was a big part of the Eagles WCF run (choked it away losing 2 home games-thank you Trent MINOR for not showing up for game 7 but whatever…).
He was a flat out superstar at Michigan also. But i think Larue is definitely gonna be on the roster while Hughes is a maybe. He not only was captain of Michigan but a Michigan team that made the Frozen 4,& had as much future NHL talent as anybody.
I've been an avs fan since they were the Nordiques, I love my Avs but I'm not a blind fan. I see their weaknesses and they have one of the worst farm systems in the nhl. The first round picks that they have managed to hold onto and not trade for rent a players have been very low first rounders. They don't have much to be excited about in the system.
