You make a good point. The league should work at getting the games to the fans who can't afford to go to the site. There is such a great product, but ticket prices are going up to cover the rising cap. Expansion is only helping the owners. Help the fans!!!
For me personally I like the Kraken games on Prime, but I get it’s hard for some. Getting my parents set up with streaming was a whole thing over the last couple years. Wish the NHL would do a stream and a televised option for each game.
If my team goes to Amazon, it would COST ME NOTHING because I already have an Amazon account and have been buying things there for over a decade with NO SHIPPING COSTS. And unlike the RSNs, they are NEVER going bankrupt. And Amazon WILL bring more fans to the sport. MANY people who are NOT hockey fans have Amazon accounts. Amazon is sure to promote the product. They will see this and at least tune in.
I really wish the Canes would post who has their broadcasting rights soon, so fans can make arrangements for subscriptions before the season starts!

The television and streaming rights in the NHL is one of the most ignored issues for sure. It’s impossible to watch almost any game, regardless of who you cheer for and where you live. Seeing how much the price for Sportsnet+ is jumping, and how poorly Rogers is managing it, it’s hard to see a route where Canadians don’t pirate NHL games. Things need to improve, and these corporations need to realize that happy customers and an easily accessible product will make them more money.
Heavy metal would be great at Rogers Arena. I can't wait for them to change the goal song.

I heard earlier today that Carolina and Minnesota and others will be Dallas on amazon
amazon cant wait. all people fired. replaced by robots and automated broadcast. All AI because its cheap. Then they will lose all the games and not take responsibility for any of it. Then switch all the games on all the channels and blame your neighbors. Then triple charge you because there was a special that you clicked on when you signed up. Can't wait.
