This IS as Crazy as it sounds on paper. Philly has but two chances to get McDavid. 1. Slim. 2. None. And Slim just walked out the door.
I would think McDavid would want to play in New York LA or Vegas
The offer doesn’t make any sense to me. If the Oilers get the Flyers best player prospects,, McDavid will never win the cup which is what he is after.
I am not sure what it will take, but that creates too many voids for the flowers to be a contender.
That trade does not make sense
the flyers trading all of that for mcdavid doesn't make sense for the flyers. edmonton can dream on that package all they want, but it will never happen
Sorry, but that price is way too high for the Flyers.
That is 7 first rounders ! And destroys Philly
Flyers will be paying the Lindros price for McDavid…As long as he DOESN'T go to the NY Rags!!!!!
Two things: 1.) The Oilers wouldn't make that deal. They will get better offers from other teams. Some of these players that you mentioned are not "playoff players." Not yet anyways. 2.) McDavid calls the shots here. He wants to go to a team that can win the Cup NOW. The Flyers are not that team. Especially if they trade Porter Martone.. Montreal can offer a better package than this.
Holy shit! It's another Lindros type trade! Remember what happened with Quebec/Colorado?! They won cups after that Lindros deal… Edmonton…
If I were the GM of Edmonton, I'd do it, but a true #1 goaltender has to be in the deal some how
