The top American players want out of Canada. The taxes, the politics, the crap from the media because they showed love of their country after beating Canada. And who wants to be stuck there the next time there’s something like the COVID shutdowns? Canada became a dictatorship during that time. If I was an American hockey star, I would want out of Canada, too. How much longer does Mathews stay in Toronto?
This is a situation where the European football rules make sense.. you could buy larkin at a negotiated price set by Detroit and that would go against you cap split over 2 years.
