My short answer is yes, but let’s discuss. #carolinahurricanes #stanleycup #nhl

also i want jarvy to sit his tail in that press box untill hes 100% hes been dealing with this shoulder thing for two years
The Canes made it to the promised land without first line production a playoff team expects. Their depth plugged the holes. I expect to see Carolina lean on their depth again if injuries become a problem. Bussi gets better and better the more he plays.
Hope they give KK a fair chance this year
I think the Hurricanes might win the Cup again in 2027 (Maybe) If they will be Healthy
Florida probably won't make it out of the first round with Markstrom in net. People forget Bob was the only reason they won anything. Oh we got Brady yay dude got absolutely shut down in the playoffs plus they lost Greer and Rodriguez and picked up old and slow asf Gudas for the third pair. The dynasty is over lol
Finally winning the Conference Final after twenty years and many previous futile efforts was a massive confidence boost for the Canes. Wouldn't be shocked to see another deep playoff run next season.
I don’t see anybody stopping them. The difference this year is that Carolina has the added confidence of winning a Stanley cup and the belief that their system works.
YES 2027 STANLEY CUP CHAMPIONS
With the current playoff format, they are favorites to repeat. They probably win their division again, play a WC and end up in the East final again and repeat there as well.
I don’t see Freddy replicating his success in Edmonton. We caught lightning in a bottle with his stellar playoff appearance. Ive long thought he was done as a long-term netminder.
Nadeau is a nasty one timer on the power play if he joins the lineup. Watched him play at University of Maine and it was the funniest college hockey player I’ve ever watched.
We have a good cap situation, so that helps if we need to add any critical pieces (if/when available or necessary)
great teams overcome panthers did not
If their path is as easy as last, yeah.
Yes
RALEEEEEEEEEIIIIIIIIIGH!!!
both Ehlers and Svechnikov were basically point per game last year after first two or three weeks of season. I think their statistics a little misleading. Both were in big slumps with like 1 point each through 10 games. Svech also hit the 30 goal mark despite this which was big for his continued development.
I agree that they could win again. I personally think that you’re gonna see a goaltending boom this season if no major injuries occur within their goalie room. Kochetkov and Bussi balance each other out. Kooch no longer has all the weight on his development and can develop with less pressure while Bussi has a blue chipper to lean on. You’ll see maybe a little growing pain this season but again barring injury to either tendy i think the “Carolina needs better goaltending” headlines will decrease exponentially
Mic 🎤 is on the fritz 😢
Yes, but it will be tough with shorter than normal off-season and longer overall season.
As a canes fan, I'd like them to add another strong defenseman and goalie with the 10M they have.
Primo signed overseas, I don't see him beign the 3rd guy.
LETS GO CANES!!!!
