Nice job Jaws. I'm thinking that the Lightening are going to be the major contender against the Cats in the Atlantic. They've made some changes, mostly positive. And I think they are irritated that the Habs beat them in the playoffs (if I'm remembering right, the Habs won in 7 games, and in the last game the Habs won by one goal). Betting Lightening don't let that happen again.
I honestly don't really have any concerns so far. January may be a different view on my part. Until then let the chips fall where they may. Go Cats. Brady has deceptive speed, he's so big that guys like him look slower. Also good at faceoffs and board battling. And that frees up barky and reino to do their things. Chucky looks like a smoother skater than he used to. Swaggy returning to form will help him, won't have to hit as much on the 2nd line or chase pucks like he did last season. Benny will be benny. 3rd line Lundy eetu and vilmanis will be more offensive than prior years where they were mainly mud that other teams had to drive their corvettes through 😊. 4th line can potentially be other teams 3rd's lots of plug n play guys. All good. Defense playing with leads will help them and not wear them out so they can focus on timely clears vs getting stuck in the defensive zone. Definitely start splitting kuli and gudas evenly or close to that. I'll still push for my boy alscher til he's up or gone. 😅Goalies I'm fine with markstrom and schmid. I feel like markstrom will relish his opportunity and reclaim some of his past play. Schmid has the potential to be the future for the cats. But before we knew what the cats would bring in, that I'd be fine with skinner and tarasov would have been ok with them too. I have faith in the coaching staff improving both Goalies. Im selfish but I'd like to see the Cats win the division and even flirt with a presidents trophy. That would satisfy marchy and make up for the Cats ruining bostons run.
