We also discuss the five Senators with the most to prove in 2026-27, whether it’s time for a deep look into Canada’s 33-year Stanley Cup drought, and whether the Sens would prefer to wait until next month to negotiate new contracts when the NHL’s maximum contract term drops from eight years to seven.

Not a fan of Kelly Hrudy.
Definitely don’t agree with Hutson being ahead of Sandy. It’s a bit ridiculous that points gets you ahead of well rounded,stoic shutdown defencemen.
What we have is basically too many bottom 6 players that are going to battle it out for that top 6 wing spot whether that would be Zetterlund, Foegele or Burakovsky it's going to be between those 3. Cause if Pinto elevates to 2C and Greig moves down to 3C you need to keep Amadio and Giroux on that 3rd line with Greig cause that line has been great in the past. You keep Halliday at 4C then Cousins at left wing and whoever doesn't produce gets the bottom line right wing spot. Guranteed Top 6 players on the team at the moment are Eklund, Stutzle, Cozens & Batherson. If Pinto is elevated this season to 2C he needs to prove he can be a Top 6 player and Zetterlund needs to prove more too
