I think Tim Runtso is a late grower too
No to Branden Carlo. Not a chnace.
Carlo was useless in Toronto and heavily criticized. That would suck as a move. Leaf got fleeced on that trade that brought Carlo there.
Not an enforcer what so ever. He’s had like 3 concussions in 5 years.
Imagine Xhekaj and Strube come into camp fully evolved somehow,, 😂 faith
Prospect shows are the best!
My organization has been following Paupanekis since he played in 2022 NAHC for Team Manitoba. While he made little impression on this writer , he really developed in the subsequent years leading up to his draft year. Some of my scouts felt he had a higher upside than Jack Nebsitt who was taken 12 overall by the Flyers in the 2025 darft. At last years development camp Paupanekis was, along Hage, Harris and Koivu, the most impressive players on the ice. The goal that Paupanekis scored towards the end of the first period ( when he exploded past the highly touted Konyushkov) was a goal, that no other player (including Hage) was capable of scoring. Regrettably, shortly after that camp, Paupanekis contracted Mono which largely destroyed his effectiveness for the balance of season last year. If is fully recovered, Paupanekis will be a legitimate candidate for Team Canada at the upcoming WJC.
Runtso -13 needs to improve a lot. When i saw him at our camp this summer he did not defend his net well. he will have to work on his defensive game for sure. If he makes the NHL he will most likely be a bottom 6 D and will have to not be a liability in the defensive zone. Hope he works on it honestly. I like the other parts of his game.
The big paup daddy needs to work on his overall game and board work to maximize his chance to make it. He will get the chances.
Im ok with replacing carrier on the right side. As long as Carrier goes the other way or in another trade
Does anyone want to see how Reinbacher does in the pre-season before we spend on an RD? Anyone?
For God's sake Jesse, PLEASE put the microphone a few inches further .
Make no sense whatsoever your draft proposals and players profiling. They don't know hockey at all.
