This is JJ McCarthy's 3rd year in the Vikings' system. He should have a huge advantage over Kyler Murray in training camp but the exact opposite has occurred. Kyler Murray's talent is on show as he ascends to QB1. JJ McCarthy's days are numbered at the Vikings.

I hope we can stay over .500 As time ticks away it seems more & more like Teasley will draft a first round QB next draft. I don't think we will resign Kyler and Mccarthy probably won't one way or another ease the panic of needing a franchise QB. We drafting one!
When a player starts losing confidence and regressing usually mean his time with the team is coming to an end. Probably best for McCarthy to be a backup with Philly next year. A team that can better utilize McCarthy's skill set.
